The Students’ Union is the premier student-body in the College. Its membership is compulsory for all the students of the College. It cultivates the qualities of leadership, public speaking, organization, self-expression and initiative among students. The students are encouraged to organize and participate in various seminars and presentations, providing them with a platform to enhance their academic and political abili- ties. Its objectives are to foster intellectual and cultural development of its members and to give them training in the methods and functioning of democratic institutions. The Ramjas College Student Union also organizes the annual cultural festival of the College, called ‘Mosaic’. All the office-bearers of the Students’ Union will hold their respective offices from August 2007 to 30 April 2008.
