Development
of Entrepreneurship
Excellence
Advisor: Dr Priya Bir . Coordinator: Ms. Madhur Ajmani
Entrepreneurship
can be described
as a creative
response to ones’ own
and the societal
goals. Global
economic and
technological
scenarios have
completely changed
the patterns
of education,
thought process,
achievement levels,
working capacity,
time management,
quality orientation,
productively
and risk taking
behavior. In
the era of high
level competition,
one should devise
and implement
new and innovative
strategies for
success; one
should provide
impetus and dynamism
to achieve brilliant
success and one
must remain vibrant
and dynamic to
invigorate his
soul and mind
for ever higher
success.
New
economic theories
advocates that
rapid growth
of creative human
capital is an
essential pre-requisite
and is of un-equivocal
importance for
the economic
growth of a country
and also to improve
the quality of
life. The ‘Human
Capital’ here
would operationally
mean ‘Entrepreneurs’ – the
persons who are
capable of doing
things in new
ways and doing
altogether new
things. Knowledge-based
industries require
completely different
standards. The
beginning of
20th century
witnessed doubling
of codified knowledge
base every 30
year while the
span decreased
to 7 years in
1970s. It is
estimated that
codified knowledge
base will double
every 11 hours
in 2010
