Forensic Science (Fingerprints and Document Examination)

Duration of the Course: Three Months

Minimum Qualification Required for Admission: Graduation Degree of any University, which is recognized by Delhi University

Number of Seats: 20

Procedure of Admission: Merit.

Attendance: 60%, in Theory and Practical separately.

Examination Scheme: Theory Papers-Two of three-hour duration each

Paper 1 : Fingerprints Examination;

Paper 2 : Document Examination

Practical Papers : 3 Hours duration each

Practical 1 : Fingerprints identification and analysis

Practical 2 : Questioned Document examination, Analysis of Hand-writing, Detection of Erasures on                   documents, Determination of age of ink and paper

Total Marks: 400 (Theory: 100+100; Practicals: 100+100)

Pass Percentage: 40%
