Notes:
Students
who
have
appeared
for
their
Board
Examination
in
the
year
2006
may
be
considered
for
admission,
if,
along
with
all
original
certificates,
they
provide
some
documentary
evidence
to
the
effect
that
they
have
not
sought
admissions
in
any
other
courses/Colleges
during
the
year
2006-2007
to
1
st
year,
but
appeared
in
an
entrance
examination
of
some
professional
courses
e.g.,
MBBS;
Engineering,
Pharmacy,
etc,
in
the
year
2006.
Such
candidates
must
contact
the
concerned
Department
appeared
in
the
previously
mentioned
entrance
examination
during
the
year
2006.
Applicants for the BA (Hons) Music course should contact the College office along with the
acknowledgement slip issued by the Music Faculty. Their admission will be finalised by the Convenor,
Admission Committee.
Some Departments require a minimum of 50% marks in English for admission.
Resolution No 3, dated February 28
1991, of the Equivalence Committee, University of Delhi is as follows:-
(i) That the Academic and Vocational Courses must relate to the main course opted for by the candidates.
(ii) That for courses such as BA Programme/ BCom (Pass) / BCom (Hons) / BA (Hons)/ BSc
Programme, three academic subjects and one vocational subject may be taken into account for
the purpose of eligibility.
(iii) That for admission to vocational courses, two vocational subjects and two academic subjects forming
the relationship with the main course must be ensured.
(iv) For candidates having passed the 10+2 level examinations with all vocational subjects, the cases
of such students may be decided by the heads of the Departments/Deans of the Faculties concerned
on individual merit.
