School of Foreign and Indian Languages

The vast infrastructure of Ramjas College is available to SFIL. In addition to modern, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing classrooms, SFIL shares with the College a state-of-the-art audio-visual room for seminars, talks and film screenings. The college auditorium is available to host any event. Teaching aids are provided as per needs defined in the classroom. The School offers facilities for photocopying and sourcing study material.

SFIL is in the process of developing a language library equipped with books and other resources. It is also examining the possibility of developing a language laboratory. It wishes to build a network with other language schools to share resources, including teachers and experts. SFIL encourages teacher training programmes and teacher/student exchange programmes.

The School has a dedicated Notice Board which forms the reference point for all information. Students are advised to check it regularly for announcements and notifications.

Extra-Curricular Activities

New though they are to languages and related cultures, our students are brimming with ideas. Under the guidance of enthusiastic teachers, the School encourages cultural events like music, poetry, theatre, dance and other related activities to enrich the experience of language learning. It hopes to go on to book readings, discussions and seminars very soon.
