ENGLISH [Honours; First Year] ENTRANCE TEST

AWARD LIST

Students ranked 1 (one) to 40 (forty) in the accompanying result list have been provisionally selected, on the basis of the weighted total of marks obtained in the entrance test conducted on 28th June 2007 and their XII board marks, for admission to English (Hons) First Year. They are required to meet the Admission In-charge in Room No. 13 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on any of the following days – Monday 2nd July, Tuesday 3rd July and Wednesday 4th July, 2007 – to complete all admission formalities.

Candidates may note that their selection for admission is provisional, subject to their fulfilling various admission criteria as determined by the department of English and the College Admission Committee.

Students ranked 41 (forty one) to 50 (fifty) have been provisionally placed on the wait list, on the basis of the weighted total of marks obtained in the entrance test conducted on 28th June 2007 and their XII board marks, for consideration should seats remain vacant after the exhaustion of the above list on 4th July 2007 at 1:00 p.m. They are required to meet the teacher in-charge in Room No. 13 on 4th July 2007 at 1:15 p.m. to verify their status. Admission based on the wait list will be done in order of merit#, subject to the number of seats available.

#For example if we have four vacant seats and seven enquiries from the above wait listed candidates, we will offer the four seats to those ranked highest among the seven students.
