Zoology

The Department admits student for a 3 year degree course leading to B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology. The admission is made on the basis of merit. The marks obtained at the +2 level in Physics, Chemistry & Biology decide the merit. The examination is conducting by the University every year as Part I, Part II and Part III examination. The Department has a Zoological Museum. In collaboration with the Department of Botany and Chemistry, the Department also imparts teaching to students of B.Sc. Gen Group ‘B’ and B.Sc. Gen. Environmental Science Courses.

The Department also enrolls students for M.Sc. Zoology. It offers 5 seat in this course. Admission to M.Sc Zoology is made centrally by the Faculty of Science, University of Delhi. The students of M.Sc. Zoology are registered in the College. All the classes are held in the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi.
