The Department of Commerce is one of the most prestigious departments in the College.
With a view to develop all-round personality of the students, the Commerce Department plans, besides adequate coverage of the syllabii, many other activities including industrial visits, seminars, quizes etc. during the year. The department uses the latest pedagogy and uses new class room equipment for imparting education. The students have to make presentations on topics of current interest. Visits of executives from business and industry add to the knowledge of the students and such visits are also proposed for the current year. The Department, through its Seminar, plans to organise workshops to promote creative writing, extempore speaking and learning event management.
