 "Each individual is encouraged to step beyond the confines of academic and administrative disciplines to explore and intervene in the larger interests of the Ramjas Community that thrives on participation and the desire to venture into newer vistas" Courses Every student has to pursue a regular course of study with a specific choice of subjects. The duration of study for all under-graduate courses is three years and that of post-graduate courses is two years. The College offers the following Programmes in accordance with the regulations of the University of Delhi. BA
(Hons) English Note: Candidates need to note the options [for optional paper V in II yr, and paper IX in III yr] that are proposed to be taught to students of English Honours (subject to workload considerations) during the academic year 2007-08 are as follows: II year – Paper V: option b (Classical Literature) and option c (Forms of Popular Fiction) III year – Paper IX: option b (Literary Theory) and option c (Women’s Writing in the 19 th & 20 th Centuries) However, it is not necessary that the options being taught to the current year’s II and III year students will also be available to students admitted to I year English Honours this year. |
